This coffee table was built by Modern Motortisch Design of Görlitz, Germany, and was purchased by the current owner circa 2020. It is constructed using components from a Jaguar V12 engine and features an engine block finished in gray as well as a tempered glass tabletop supported by four pistons. This Jaguar V12 coffee table is now offered at no reserve in Dallas, Texas.
The engine is mounted on silver pedestal feet and features a block and camshafts, valves, and cylinders powder-coated in gray. Uninstalled exhaust manifolds are included in the sale.
Four pistons rise above the engine block to support the 1/2″-thick tempered glass tabletop, which sits approximately 23″ off the floor and measures 43″ long by 37″ wide. The seller notes that the assembly weighs an estimated 250 pounds.
Color-changing LEDs are installed in the engine. The Jaguar badge is included but not attached to the block.
The engine number indicates that the block was originally installed in an XJ12.
