Wish on a wonder at Bourke’s Luck Potholes
Bourke’s Luck Potholes is a magnificent natural attraction located along the Panorama Route, where the Blyde River (river of joy) and the Treur River (river of sorrow) converge. The cylindrical holes which make up the site are caused by a phenomenon known as a 'Giant's Kettle' - where eddies of water wear away the rock. The different soil levels in each hole give them each a unique colour, making for a striking landscape.
