John Turturro, Tony Shalhoub and Jessica Hecht will star in the Broadway revival of Arthur Miller’s “The Price,” cued up for spring at the Roundabout Theater Company.
Turturro, currently starring in HBO’s well-received “The Night Of,” was last on Broadway in the 2011 short-play anthology “Relatively Speaking.” Shalhoub, who recently completed filming on “Brain Dead,” has appeared fairly regularly on Broadway over the last few years, with credits including “Act One” and “Golden Boy,” as well as the Off Broadway staging of “The Mystery of Love and Sex.”
In “The Price,” Turturro will play Victor Franz, an intelligent man who, during the Great Depression, found himself forced to work to support his father rather than pursue an education. The play, set in the 1960s, follows Victor and his wife (Hecht) as he returns to his childhood home to sell it, reuniting with his estranged, successful brother (Shalhoub) as well as a furniture dealer there to appraise the goods. (The latter role remains to be cast.)
Hecht will appear in “The Price” after her current Broadway gig, “Fiddler on the Roof,” wraps up in December. “The Price” last played Broadway in a 1999 production that starred Jeffrey DeMunn and Harris Yulin.

Directed by Terry Kinney, the Roundabout’s staging of “The Price” begins previews Feb. 16 ahead of a March 16 opening at the American Airlines Theater. The show is part of a 2016-2017 Roundabout season that includes “Holiday Inn,” “The Cherry Orchard” and “Love Love Love,” among others.
