(Gray News) - It looks like a “Freaky Friday” sequel is in the works.

Lindsay Lohan stopped by Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show and shared that a sequel to the 2003 film is happening, and Jamie Lee Curtis is on board, too.

“We are both excited. I’m gonna speak for Jamie,” Lohan said on the show.

Lohan told People she is “just excited to work with Jamie again.”

Lohan did not want to “say too much” when asked about a timeline for the production of the film on Cohen’s show, according to Deadline.

“Freaky Friday” is based on a 1972 book by Mary Rodgers about a mother and daughter who switch bodies after opening a magical fortune cookie. The 2003 film was the third film adaptation of the book.
