This looks like the beginning of a beautiful tradition.

I was fortunate to spend my Thanksgiving with my mom. Short of her asking me if our host's home would be warm or cold so she could figure out what to wear, we didn't otherwise coordinate our looks. But now that I've seen what Gwyneth Paltrow and her daughter, Apple Martin, did for their Thanksgiving looks, I'm starting to think Mom and I may want to synchronize our styles for future holidays.

Paltrow posted several photos and videos to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, November 24, showing what appeared to be a lovely family feast with daughter Apple and son Moses Martin. In addition to images of the decor and dishes, we got to see that the trio was pretty dressed up, with Moses wearing a suit, Apple wearing a black velvet dress, and Gwyneth wearing a strappy black dress with a pearl necklace. But it's the ladies' hair that really brings the looks together — kind of literally.

In one photo, we see Apple kissing Paltrow on the cheek, and it's clear that both are wearing their long, blonde hair half-up in their own ways: Apple with curtain bangs and Mom without. We get another look at Paltrow's slightly side-parted ‘do while she poses with an impressive spread, captioned, “I didn’t cook this but it looks like I did.”

It's a third picture that reveals just how coordinated the mother-daughter duo decided to go. Taken from behind, we can see that both Apple and Paltrow are wearing long, black satin bow barrettes, holding the top half of their glossy hair back.

We found a similar hair accessory from Soho Style: the Long Bow Barrette in Black Satin. Just make sure you get one for yourself and one for a loved one so you can match at your next holiday gathering.
