Well Made Cable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to use our Wii with a newer TV. The new TV lacks S-Video or composite inputs. It only has component and HDMI. Got this cable and the Wii works great. Adjusted the display settings and it looks better than it ever has. Very clear picture. The cable seems well made a durable. A little expensive, but it should last a long time.

Good component cables for ehanced picture with Wii
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This cable is all that is available to enhance the picture quality when playing games or watching netflix videos via your Wii. The picture quality is noticeably better with these cables versus the included AV cables that come with your Wii. I wish the original Wii had HD. Only the Wii U comes in HD. Its kinda expensive though. Wish it had HDMI for the Wii. But it works well

Picture quality is great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Convenient best buy carries this item in store so I could get it immediately. What's not great is the price. If I could have waited it would have cost me 1/3 of the price to obtain a cable like this.

Provides great quality picture
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ease of connection, no matter the age. I'm using it as my connection to the television and Hulu Plus. I couldn't ask for a better picture I have it hooked up to a 52" Sharp Aquos TV

Worked great to hook wii to new tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worth the price. We were able to easily hook up our current Wii with our new HD TV. We had no issues connecting the cords. The picture was infinitely better with the new hook ups.

Great upgrade to the cheap nintendo AUX cables
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are a great upgrade to the cheap thin cables nintendo sends out with the wii. I was very impressed with the quality and thickness of them! Though theres not a huuuuge difference in picture quality, since the wii doesn't support better quality, they are a MUST for anyone who plays the wii on a HDTV! Component cables make the colors a little brighter and maybe make the picture a tad bit more clear. Overall I would buy these again, I have many accessories made by Rocketfish! from hdmi cables to usb hubs, and I can honestly say they make great quality items! :-)

This is required when connecting a wii to a HD TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When our old tube TV finally quit, we purchased a 46" Samsung TV from Best Buy. When we hooked up our wii, the screen was black and white and the resolution was horrible. I went to the gaming department at Best Buy and discussed our problem with the associate, he suggested that we try this new 5-wire heavy duty cable specifically designed for the wii. We replaced the factory 3 wire cable with this one, and we now have a beautiful color high resolution picture, and the new cable was very affordable. I called the store and asked them to thank the associate.

Q: QuestionThis is too short. Is there a coupler for this so I can extend it?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Really any RCA cable can be used to extend this. You'll just need to remember which one is red, blue, and green. Mark it before you configure it in the cabinet.

Q: Questionwiring into TVthe original wii cables, 3 are red, white, and yellow. Yours are re, blue, green and two others, red and white. How do you wire into a 50" Panasonic Plasma TV? My 1st attempt I got B&W only?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer red, blue, and green (RGB) are component video connections. yellow is composite video. They are different and cannot be intermixed. make sure you are using the component video inputs on the back of your TV. the original red and white cables are audio cables. same for the new cable.

Q: QuestionHOOKING WII INTO MY AVR SETUP AND I NEED TO KNOW WHICH COLORS GO WHEREWHY DON'T YOU GUYS GIVE OUT A SIMPLE CABLE HOOK-UP GUIDE WITH THESE EXPENSIVE CABLES? HOOKING WII INTO MY AVR SETUP AND I NEED TO KNOW WHICH COLORS GO WHERE? THEN DO I NEED TO PLUG ALL FIVE PLUGS IN OR ARE SOME OF THEM LEFT UNPLUGGED? DO YOU HAVE A PHONE NUMBER TO TALK TO SOMEONE HERE IN THE US?
Asked by RICH.
- A:Answer The cable is color coded to match the inputs on the back of your TV. There are 5 colors on the cable. 2 are joined, and then the other 3 are joined. In the group of 2 you have: Red = Audio channel right. White = Audio channel left. Those 2 colors have been used for many years and should not require explanation. The other 3 colors should match the inputs on the back of your set. So red cable plugs into red hole. Green cable plugs into green hole. Blue cable plugs into blue hole. This reminds me of the scene in Raising Arizona where the guy asks for instructions on how to use Pampers. The clerk responds that they're self contained, and fairly self explanatory. I would think that matching cable colors to colored holes / connectors on your TV should be pretty self explanatory. That's why they began using colors on them.
