Using Cécred, of course.

If you ever wondered what Beyoncé does to protect her natural curls, today's your lucky day. The Cowboy Carter singer gave fans a rare insight into her haircare routine (and a rare look at her natural curls) using her new haircare line, Cécred, which launched earlier this year. In an Instagram post, Beyoncé walked us through her routine from shampoo to dryer with a voice-over explaining each step. Ahead, all of the details on the singer's hair-wash day.

On April 22, the Cécred account posted a video of Beyoncé's step-by-step routine, with a voiceover of the singer saying "It's about time I show ya'll what [Cécred] does for my hair." While it might seem typical for a brand founder to post a video using their products, Bey is known to be very private on social media, so the post came as a sort of surprise. "Cécred exists so anyone has the opportunity to show up how they choose," reads the caption. "There’s no better way to celebrate that than with our founder, @beyonce sharing her own."

She shared the same video to her own Instagram with the caption “Maintaining 25 years of blond on natural hair through all the experimenting I do has played a huge part in developing @cecred’s products." Adding, "It’s the hardest to keep color-treated hair healthy and strong, but @cecred is here. All quality, with NO shortcuts."

The video starts with the singer getting her hair shampooed, and we'd bet it's with the Hydrating Shampoo ($40) from the line. "I love the lather, it's very soothing" she adds while the video shows the shampoo being worked into her hair. Next, she adds that since her hair is colored, they're using the Rice & Rose Water Protein Ritual ($52) a two-step treatment that uses rice water to boost growth and shine, and help reduce breakage. "There's nothing in the world like the conditioner, I love it," Bey raves about the Moisturizing Deep Conditioner ($38). And, before she goes in with a blow dryer, she adds a tiny bit of the Moisture Sealing Lotion ($38) to her ends.

To style her hair Beyoncé uses medium heat, with "an old school press and comb." She also explains that since she's been using Cérced, her hair has never been healthier (even though it's been dyed blonde.) "My hair is flourishing" she adds.

ICYMI: Cécred was inspired by Bey's upbringing in her mom's salon in Texas. "It was important to honor past rituals while infusing our personal touch by adding advanced science to build new sacred rituals," reads the brand's website. "The result was haircare defined by its performance, quality, and intention." The line includes a range of products from clarifying shampoos to deep conditioners and hair oils with tech-powered ingredients.

Celebrity beauty brands are few and far between, but it's nice to see Beyoncé truly believe in and use the products herself.
