On Monday night, Bryce Dallas Howard stepped out for a special screening of her upcoming film Argylle at the Spyscape Museum in New York City. It was an unexpected but fitting venue for the upcoming action/thriller/comedy, in which she plays the author of a spy novels that somehow start dictating real-life events. (Henry Cavill, Dua Lipa, Catherine O’Hara, John Cena, Ariana DeBose, and more are also in the cast.)
But for this screening, Howard’s wardrobe was more about standing out than channeling espionage. She arrived in a bright-green, long-sleeve bodycon dress by Givenchy with ruched detailing down the front of the skirt. Her inspiration? “Nickelodeon slime—it’s the perfect neon green,” she tells ELLE.com. She completed her look with green Bottega Veneta sandals and a bright, fresh beauty look by celebrity makeup artist Vivian Baker. Her hair, done by Orlando Pita, was styled in a classic curled half-up, half-down ’do.
As for her favorite part of the night, it was “the audience,” Howard says. “It’s why we do what we do! I’m so grateful to have experienced the movie with such a fantastic group.”
