Casanova Red is the first compact red Cosmos. It received its novelty for its well-branched habit and new colour in compact bedding-type Cosmos bipinnatus.

Plant:

Growing:

Sow at 18-21 °C in January/February (pack) or March/April (garden). Well drained medium. Keep moist and keep cooler after emergence to prevent stretching. Further grow at 15-18 °C. Transplant 2-3 weeks after sowing. Growth regulator: Alar can be applied but is not always required. Cultivation: grow cool and fairly dry.

Planting:
Plant out in sunny spot in May (after last frost). Planting distance 20 cm x 20 cm. Container size 10-12 cm. 1-3 plants per pot.
