Russell Brand may be only weeks away from exchanging wedding vows with his beloved girlfriend, Katy Perry, but the unkempt British funnyman was recently the center of attention at another marital shindig.
According to Britain's News of the World, Brand was celebrating the final days of his singledom with pals last weekend when they decided to stop at The Grove Hotel in Hertfordshire, England.
It was then that the Get Him to the Greek star realized an Indian wedding reception was taking place, and went insane.
"Russell completely took over and was dancing away at the reception. The groom wasn't very happy about the fact that the spotlight had been taken away from him and his new bride," a snitch told the news outlet.
India may very well hold a special place in Brand's heart. Not only is it rumored that Russell gave Katy an engagement ring there, but the hipsters are reportedly getting hitched in the country as well.
However, it looks as though the comedian left the groom pretty peeved.
"He went over to the DJ who was playing English tunes and asked him to change the music to more Asian music in a bid to get Russell to stop dancing," the source told the news outlet.
