While Nathan Fillion is busy working on The Rookie season 6, it looks like he's also out making money moves.

The Castle alum has gained a new legion of followers thanks to his portrayal as rookie cop John Nolan on the ABC drama, but he has bigger plans that span beyond acting. In a new announcement made by Deadline on February 1, it was revealed Nathan teamed up with his longtime manager and producing partner Michelle Chapman to launch a production company called Collision33. Additionally, the outlet announced that Nathan and Michelle already have a big client, as they signed a first-look deal with Lionsgate to start producing projects together.

“I am incredibly excited about expanding my relationship with Lionsgate," Nathan said in an official statement to the publication. "eOne has been a tremendous partner with Michelle and me on The Rookie and The Rookie: Feds. This partnership represents a remarkable opportunity to tell meaningful stories and create content that resonates with viewers across the globe."

What's more, Michelle confirmed the news on Instagram the same day. "Here we go!!!💃✨🌺," she excitedly captioned a screenshot of the article.

When fans learned Nathan would be expanding his work catalogue to more than just acting, they rushed to his and Michelle's sides to share their excitement.

"Woo Hoo! So proud! ❤️," one person exclaimed on Instagram. "I know you'll do great things and help create good, smart entertainment. Congratulations!" another declared. "Very nice!! Such a huge fan and excited to see where this goes!" a different follower added.

So, what can fans expect from Nathan stepping into this side of Hollywood? Given he already has two credits with ABC as an executive producer on The Rookie and The Rookie: Feds, it's likely he'll have more projects under his belt in the near future.

As for whether the actor's new company affects his work on The Rookie, that's also highly unlikely. He's very much ingrained in the upcoming season of the procedural drama, and judging from the official promo, there's a lot more for Nolan in store at LAPD Mid-Wilshire.

Congrats, Nathan!
