Couples who work together, stay together. Well, sometimes. But in this case, we're going with it because Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Ewan McGregor, who've been together since 2017, are starring together for the third time in A Gentleman in Moscow.
McGregor was attached to the project last summer, with Winstead only just jumping on board. The series is based on the Amor Towles novel of the same name about a Russian Count exiled to the confines of a hotel in Moscow throughout the revolution on fear of execution.

What is A Gentleman in Moscow about?
Towles' book was released in 2016 and became a worldwide bestseller. It tells the story of Count Alexander Rostov who, during the Russian Revolution, is spared execution for his gilded upbringing but forced to live in a hotel in Moscow with the punishment of death if he tries to leave.
He spends years inside the four walls of the Hotel Metropol, getting accustomed to a life without any luxuries and building relationships with the other people who live there.
Who is starring in A Gentleman in Moscow?
McGregor will be taking on the lead of Count Alexander Rostov, the eponymous gentleman stuck in the less-than-luxurious walls of a Moscow Hotel.
Winstead will star as Anna Urbanova, a glamorous and beautiful actress at the height of her fame. In the book, she dazzles Rostov and the pair strike up a romance from inside the Hotel Metropol as the fallout of the Russian Revolution happens around them.
This will be the third time the pair have starred opposite each other. They famously met on the set of the third season of Fargo in 2016 and were both a part of 2020's Harley Quinn standalone film Birds of Prey.
When will A Gentleman in Moscow be released?
Having only just begun production, it will be a while before the series hits our screens. It's likely it won't come our way until the end of the year at the earliest, but most likely 2024. However, when it does, it will be available to watch on Paramount+.
