On the heels of playing J. Edgar Hoover on The Man in the High Castle, William Forsythe is co-starring in the indie heist thriller A Perfect Plan, along with Kathleen Munroe (Patriot, The Void).
V71 Entertainment will introduce the Canadian indie to international buyers at the American Film Market.
Forsythe is to play an old-school grifter who, along with a young woman (Munroe), wakes up captive in a fortified warehouse and together they are forced by a cunning master thief, Theo, to plan and commit an extraordinary heist — the secret diamond collection of John D. Rockefeller.
Jesse Ikeman wrote and is making his directorial debut with A Perfect Plan. Carlo Rota (24, Breaking Bad) plays Theo, and Murdoch Mysteries lead Yannick Bisson has a cameo appearance.
Forsythe is known for his series-regular role on Mob Doctor, and also for playing Al Capone on the 1990s revival of The Untouchables. His other TV credits include appearances on Hawaii Five-0, Boardwalk Empire, The Mentalist, Justified, Chicago Justice and Daredevil.
On the feature side, Forsythe starred in the action-thriller Hard Powder, opposite Liam Neeson, and the live-action remake of A Little Mermaid.
Munroe’s TV credits including playing Alice Tavner on Patriot, Mari in Strangers and Rachael Braidwood on the fantasy drama Resurrection.
A Perfect Plan is produced by RivvR Media, in association with Vortex Words and Pictures and V71 Entertainment. Bill Marks is producing, Christopher Giroux and David Miller are executive producers and George Mihalka is the executive in charge of production.
V71 Entertainment will also release A Perfect Plan in Canada.
