Trainspotting actor Ewen Bremner is making his music debut with a quirky video directed by The Amityville Horror’s Andrew Douglas.
The Hollywood Reporter has the first look at the music video for Bremner’s “Trouble Not,” the lead single off his album, Sprinter, which is described as “a foray into David Bowie territory.”

The Scottish actor, whose musical act is called Exitman, does some amusing dance moves on the street in the mostly black-and-white clip.
Ah-sung Ko — star of Joon-ho Bong’s horror hit The Host, the highest-grossing South Korean film of all time — also stars in the video. (She and Bremner also will appear together in Bong’s upcoming film Snowpiercer, starring Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton and Octavia Spencer, which will be released by The Weinstein Co. later this year.)
Bremner is best known for his roles as heroin addict Daniel “Spud” Murphy in Trainspotting, SPC Shawn Nelson in Black Hawk Down and Lt. Red Winkle in Pearl Harbor. Sprinter is available via Chegada Records.
Douglas’ second feature, uwantme2killhim? (whose producers include Bryan Singer), premieres this month at the Edinburgh Film Festival.
