Not a pretty tomato
I have two road side stands. Most my customers do not like the shape of these tomatoes, they do have wonderful taste. But their odd shape and curves make then non desirable. Huge slicers if you can get one to make the ideal shape. The people that bought these odd shaped tomatoes are the juicer and canning people. I will stick with Better Boy and Big boy tomatoes., I raise near 1200 plants a year in black heavy soil.

    questionable so far...
The soil is sandy here, but i planted 4 of these and added some potting soil and have fertilized. After a couple months, only a few tomatoes growing and the ripe ones are all or partly rotted so far. Now, i planted 2 Bonnie's which I believe were the Big Beef variety and they are doing great, much larger, with many tomatoes and healthy. these were planted at the same time.

      Excellent
Excellent. Out of five varieties we grew last summer, these were the best. We jokingly referred to them as the "Chernobyl" tomatoes, because of their strange shape and very large size. The flavor was perfect; sweet, yet with the classic tomato bite.

          Weird shapes
The plants are doing great, but all the tomato’s are horribly odd shaped. Some look like two and three tomatoes trying to grow together. I am going to let them grow but so far disappointed. I grow in 5 gallon buckets in a “greenhouse” setting.

            Holy Smokes!
This tomato plant grew like crazy from seed I got 8 plants. Huge tomatoes and they have a great flavor. Yes oddly shaped but its a good one! The plants grew over 6' tall I recently pruned them and they are still producing. East Texas soil with amending we added goat poo and sawdust to our compost bins this year I think that must be the difference in production.

              My Favorite!
In 2017, I grew 6 different tomato plants and the Beefmaster was my favorite. It not only out produced the other strains, but the flavor was spectacular! It was the favorite of everyone who I shared with too. Oddly shaped, but who cares when the flavor is so great! We sliced them and used them on sandwiches, salads, etc... and diced them for salsa.

Tomatoes are still green with brown spots all over
I have have my plants in 5 gal buckets for a couple of month now. I have plenty of green tomatoes but they all have brown spots on them and not turning red. Not sure what is going on but very disappointed. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, they give huge amounts of fruit. Rodents love 'em too. :( But the taste of the beefmasters...... great! :) :););)
