Angelina Jolie was clearly keen to spend some quality time with her daughter as the pair went shopping in New York on Saturday.
Jolie, 48, was seen strutting around Manhattan with a smile on her face, despite recent allegations that her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, allegedly physically abused her long before the 2016 plane incident which led to their bitter divorce.
She was seen with Vivienne, 15, the daughter she shares with Pitt. Jolie has six children, three of whom were adopted internationally, while three are biological.
The 'Mr & Mrs Smith' star smiled after being seen by the paparazzi as she and Vivienne walked around with large brown bags from their shopping trip.
Jolie pulled off a gothic look with a long, black coat, which she paired with a pair of trousers and a lacy black top. She also wore a pair of sunglasses to conceal her identity, with a brown leather bag to accessorize.
Vivienne opted for a more casual look, rocking a grey Nike sweater and loosely-fitted jeans. The teenager completed her casual look with a pair of blue Converse sneakers.
Vivienne follows her mother's footsteps
Their public outing comes just days after they were spotted posing for photographs with the cast of "The Outsiders" on Broadway.
Being a Hollywood actress isn't for everyone, but it appears teenager Vivienne is keen to get involved in acting and drama in some capacity. Jolie is lead producing the adaptation of the S.E. Hinton novel, and she has given Vivienne a role as a volunteer assistant.
"She's very thoughtful and serious about theatre and working hard to best understand how to contribute," the actress said last year.
"I hope to be able to contribute while continuing to learn from this amazing team, who I have been working with since my daughter brought me to see the show at La Jolla Playhouse."
