Cut often for armloads of red colored blossoms. Beautifully uniform, heat tolerant, 2 feet tall and 10 - 12 inches wide plants have lush, medium green, fern-like foliage. Plant Cosmos Sonata Red Shades massed in garden beds or in patio containers for nonstop color from late spring into fall. They also make great cut flower are flower to hand pick.
For the best flower production plant in soils of average fertility with moderate water. Cosmos plants tolerate heat, drought, and poor soils. Remove spent blooms to promote additional flowers.
