Alessio Casasanta is a 2027 RHP/1B/OF with a 5-10 146 lb. frame from Newmarket, ON. Recorded an 8.37 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with a tall frame and some present strength. Pitched exclusively from the stretch. Employed a leg lift to waist level before landing on line at foot strike with a shorter stride. Releases from an over-the-top slot and worked strictly with the fastball. Also worked out in the infield and made the plays. Worked methodically to the ball from the outfield before throwing from a long arm action. Left-handed hitter and starts from an open stance with a high back elbow and hands. Keeps his hands inside the ball throughout swing. Bat stays on a linear path through the zone. Swing is rotational and hands-oriented.
