Who is Brad Falchuk, Gwyneth Paltrow’s husband, and stepdad to Apple and Moses? The Goop founder wed the Glee and American Crime Story creator 5 years ago, and says he reminds her of her dad Bruce
Who can forget when Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin announced that they were “consciously uncoupling” after 11 years?
Still, that was then, and this is now. And Paltrow has been in a relationship with TV producer Brad Falchuk for nine years, and married to him for five. So what do we know about the blue-eyed 52-year-old that Gwyneth says is just like her famous dad, Bruce Paltrow?
Brad Falchuk created TV shows like Glee and American Horror Story
Falchuk began his writing career on the drama Nip/Tuck in 2003 alongside “super-producer” Ryan Murphy, who made him co-executive producer on the show, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
It wasn’t long before the two decided to work on something new – Glee. The high school musical drama about a group of misfits that dreamed of stardom was a huge, zeitgeisty hit, and made its principal actors including Lea Michelle and Kevin McHale world famous.

Falchuk then went on to create American Crime Story, American Horror Story and Pose, among others, and his shows have been nominated for dozens of Emmys and Golden Globes.
Falchuk reminds Gwyneth of her dad, Bruce
Paltrow recently said that Falchuk reminds her of her father, telling People magazine in early November that they share a few similarities. “It’s like blue-eyed, Jewish, TV writer, with a heart of gold and a great sense of humour,” she told the publication, adding, “I finally chose my dad.”
Falchuk has “severe dyslexia”
Despite his huge success as a writer, Falchuk has spoken openly about his struggles with dyslexia growing up. Remaining undiagnosed until he was in university, he said he always felt a “disconnect” with his family, who were all very smart, and it was only when his father sent him for tests that he was told how severe his learning difficulty was, calling it a “game changer”.

“I no longer was identifying as someone who wasn’t that bright, I was identifying as somebody who had a way of seeing the world that was different,” he said in an interview with the non-profit Understood.
Paltrow and Falchuk got married in a discreet but star-studded wedding
In September, Falchuk and Paltrow celebrated five years since their Hamptons wedding, which, unsurprisingly, had an impressive guest list. Steven Spielberg, Robert Downey Jr, Cameron Diaz and Jerry Seinfeld all attended the couple’s nuptials. A Goop write-up of the special day afterwards described it as follows: “Perfect weather, a superlative dinner, a dance party for the ages, and a dress that defies adjectives.”

Just like Paltrow, Falchuk has been married before and has a 19-year-old daughter and a 17-year-old son from his previous relationship, per People.
