Berlin Pride 2022 in Photos

You may have missed it, but we wanted to relive some fabulously gay moments from the Christopher Street Day Parade which ends near Brandenburg Gate. After the lively parade, LGBTQ+ revelers converge on Unter den Linden Avenue to enjoy the fun street festival with vendors selling bratwurst, beer, and a lot more! And of course, most people stick around for the fun concert featuring German artists and bands – all in front of the historic landmark.

In case you didn’t know, longtime activist Bernd Gaiser founded Berlin Pride in 1979. About 500 people attended the first celebration in the city divided into East and West at that time. Approximately, 150,000 people participated in the Pride Parade over the weekend to celebrate this year’s theme, “United in LOVE – Against hate, war and discrimination.” Check out some of these festive photos we found on the interwebs.

Now that you have a feel for what the vibe was like for Christopher Street Day, take a look at these fun and colorful photos courtesy of the CSD Berlin – Berlin Pride on Facebook!
