The Villa was re-structured throughout history to find its final shape and more recently in 2015-2018 it had an extensive LEED certified eco-renovation that brought the home up to the top standards of luxury, technology and comfort.

The current owners, one of whom is a designer/architect and the other who used to have an art gallery in New York City, have updated the property since purchase with art, tapestries, Poltrona Frau and vintage design pieces that give the Villa a bright, airy and soothing feel and a more contemporary take on Tuscan living as the house is located on a hill, surrounded on all sides by a working vineyard and olive grove, landscaped gardens and incredible sunset views.

A true, hard to find gem

Truly the house is a one of the best Villa’s that Tuscany has to offer in terms of elegance, style, technological comforts, access to town and convenience. It is like bringing a little slice of Siena country living right inside of the city boundaries of Florence!

ABOUT THE AREA

A stone’s throw from Florence, Villa Arcetri is nestled in the Tuscan countryside and surrounded by villages and experiences.

A piece of Renaissance Elegance

Villa Arcetri pre-dates the Renaissance as a farm hamlet and sits on the marker point for Arcetri on the historic maps, hence the name. Arcetri was the home of famous scientist Galileo Galilei until his death in 1642 and hosts an observatory, convent, church and many tiny streets and historic buildings, all walking distance from the Villa.
