It’s only been just over a week since Beyoncé launched her hair care line, Cécred. As consumers everywhere find their new hair ritual, the Queen is debuting several new looks as she graces the cover of CR Fashion Book Issue 24.

Named after French Vogue’s former editor, Carine Roitfeld, the fashion magazine announced on Thursday (Feb. 29) that the “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” singer would appear be one of eight cover stars for Issue 24, one decade after her CR Fashion Book debut.

“Ten years after first covering CR in 2014 and hot on the heels of her Act II and newly-launched hair-care line @cecred, the inimitable global superstar returns to the pages of CR Fashion Book with @carineroitfeld and @jawaraw in honor of her next big move,” the outlet wrote on social media.

Bey rocked red, elongated curls—similar to her signature look as Sharon in the 2009 thriller, Obsessed. Of her return to CR Fashion Book, she shared, ”So many things have changed in the past decade.”

In a different look, she went edgier, wearing a black and silver mullet with a airbrushed tee and black corset. She revealed that she always wanted to cut her hair in a blunt way, but Mama Tina shut that down.

“I always wanted an asymmetrical cut in the ’90s, but my mother wouldn’t let me do it. So I’m having the time of my life at this shoot,” said Bey of that look.

CR Fashion Book praised the mother of three‘s versatility, noting, “Ancient Grecian Goddess locks? Edgy ‘90s chops? If anyone can pull it off, it’s Queen Bey.”

In a different look, Bey is seen owning her duality as one side of her hair has her signature honey-blonde silky tresses and the other is a rougher pixie cut.

“As long as I can remember, I’ve been around hair,” said the 42-year-old. Adding, “Hair is actually the first step when I’m creating tours, films, and albums; being able to see the hairstyles first is what influences the sound, looks… everything. It has always been a dream of mine to create top-of-the-line, luxury products.”

The new issue, which is aptly titled “Audacious,” is currently available for pre-order. It hits newsstands on Mar. 29 — the same day as Bey’s new album.
