On February 19, 2023, Jansen tragically passed away at the age of 28.
Per TMZ, his friends found him unresponsive at his apartment after he missed a business meeting.
The Los Angeles Times later reported that the actor died "suddenly of heart complications."

"Though it offers little solace, the Medical Examiner reported Jansen’s sudden passing was due to cardiomegaly (enlarged heart), coupled with aortic valve complications."
